Blueberry Cake.

Actually, it's a red velvet cake - without the red dye since I used it all up with the last two red velvet cakes I did. :( It still tasted amazing. My family has tons of blueberries, enough to last us a year. No shortage, whatsoever. I saw this picture on Pinterest and decided to gather inspiration from it.
This is how it turned out (forgive the picture of my boyfriend in the back):
Quite scrumptious, I must say. Some more pictures:
I love macro shots.
Just as I have been inspired, I hope I inspire you!

Blue Crab.

All right, I didn't make this, obviously (but I did make the cookies in the background!). But I had this for dinner last night. Although it's really red, it is, in fact, called a blue crab. It seems that the smaller the crab, the better the meat. Or maybe that's just my opinion...

Applesauce.

Again, here are some apples. I peeled, cored, and cut about 12 gala apples (but applesauce is the best when you mix a variety of apples). Thank God for the peeler! The first time I made applesauce, I did it with a knife! Took me hours.
Then, I put them in a pot to simmer with water and spices for a little while.
Lastly, I crush them with the potato smasher thing.
Yum. This definitely beats store bought applesauce. The best part is, you can control the sugar content! I put little to no sugar in mine, especially when there are no Granny Smiths involved.

Apple Pie.

My mother bought this huge box of apples last May, and after I sorted them out, this is what I came up with. Eight Granny Smith apples + two crusts = two very scrumptious apple pies. They were gone in two days. The further has no sauce on top because I ran out (the recipe was only supposed to be one pie, but the apples were really big) by putting all of it on one pie. Well, they both still tasted amazing.
