Quick and Crusty French Baguettes.

This recipe is thanks to Brooke. I wanted something to go with my butter! And these loaves took less than an hour to make.
Before baking:
And this is after:
I didn't prefer the taste too much, but my sister did! The texture was pretty good - crusty as the description said! They went great with the butter.

Homemade Butter.

Thanks to Lindsey from http://morefunwithanapron.blogspot.com/, I've made butter out of heavy cream and a mixer!
It took about 5 minutes...much better than a butter churn, for sure!
When it started to curdle, the buttermilk started splattering everywhere.
The butter separated from the buttermilk quite nicely!
The finished product. And of course, I kept the buttermilk. :D I opted out of putting salt or anything in my butter; I'll let it speak for itself. Half a cup of butter for less than 80 cents! Not half bad.

Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake.

One slice is 500 - 1000 calories each. 0.o But it's worth every single pound you may gain.
 My slice.
Doesn't that look scrumptious? I'll even tell you a little secret...I accidentally left out two sticks of butter, and it was still perfect! How's that for calorie cutdown?

Portobello Mushroom Burger.

I might as well start off with my present profile picture. This is also my most recent endeavor; I made it on the 21st of June. I'd always wanted to try this recipe but never had all the ingredients at once! Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, burger veggies, whole wheat bun, provolone cheese, and, of course, portobello mushroom! I took my first bite and thought, MAN. Where have I been all my life? It's definitely something I will make again in the near future.

Greetings!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to my food blog. This is more of a description blog to make your mouths water and your stomachs grumble! The food I post is not necessarily what I ate that day, but it is all homemade and made by yours truly unless I state otherwise! I may share some of the recipes from time to time; we'll see how this blog sets off first.
